Surrealist Portrait, Oil on Canvas - 61x91cm.Corporations, benevolently bending down to us, like gods, selling themselves in order to get our money. Sometimes the product they sell is extremely unhealthy and is detrimental to our health. KFC, MacDonald’s, Red Rooster, Hungry Jacks, Crispy Crème Donuts, Burger King, Donut King, Nando’s, Pizza Hut, Pizza Haven. – Just to name a few of course. They’re in our TV, Radio, Internet, Phones, Newspapers, busses, Trains, Trams and Cars. They’re everywhere – all around us – omniscient. They’re inside our heads with jingles and toys. Reaching down to touch all the children like a paedophilic priest. Belief and faith in the consumerist gods. Society’s Opiate is fast-food. Society’s epidemic is obesity.
This is a folio piece for my end of year exhibition in Oct. My third and final oil painting of my total folio work, this is perhaps the most technically proficient piece I've done - which Isn't saying much lol.
