Whoaaaaaa!!! This looks amazing!!! The hair is so flipping good! And the edges of things are very clear, which I find tricky with lineless. Super impressed!

Thank you!!! One of the biggest reasons I couldn't do this on my old equipment is that I couldn't get the edges as crisp as I wanted, but now I can! And I'm honored you like how the hair turned out!! Curly hair is always difficult to figure out, haha!

I've never attempted curly hair for that reason, it scares me haha

I get that completely, haha!
Once I finally figured it out though, it was so rewarding!

Yes!! She's the one! :D I may love her design XD
The answers actually a bit of both! I'm going to college for animation, but most of my improvement and drawing skills I would attribute to me taking the time to draw for myself, I'd say! :0 College is very helpful because both my free time and homework time is spent drawing so I have twice the time to hone my skill by myself! Though teachers do give me helpful feedback on where to improve, which also helps, but not nearly as much as just drawing, I'd say! ^^

YES!! All the good stuff is coming!! (At the soonest late March, and at the latest, May)Ā
It's gonna be a great time!! I can finally do that big animation I've been planning with all my characters!! (I've been wanting to do a lip-sync animation with everyone's voice headcanon so people know how they talk, and I haven't had the tech to do it til now!)

ooooh she lookin' good! In the sassiest way!
I'm curious about what tablet you got! I'm trying to save up for a new one - I'm currently using a super old wacom bamboo tablet, and its pen-stylus has a hard, non-replaceable tip that is worn like a well used pencil led (I think it is affecting my lining).

Oh, Heeeeck yeah!! Thank you!
And, of course! I got the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro! I wanted something comparable to Wacom while being much cheaper and so far it's been impressing me a ton! It's acurate and the pen is really nice, so I'd definitely recommend!

NICE (I'm jealous)!Ā I'm more limited in my budget, and I've actually been looking at the XP-Pen Deco Pro as I've heard good things about it and is really low cost. It's good to hear XP-Pen quality is good in general! Hhhhggg.... Maybe I should more seriously consider doing commissions to save up for something nicer like that drawing monitor!

Yeah! From what I've heard in my research, XP-Pen has really quality stuff! And they also have a great customer service according to my friend who showed me the brand (I haven't needed it yet) That and Huion are high-quality low-budget tablet companies. It all depends on what you're looking for. I like screen tablets just because I can't mentally get over the disconnect of looking away from where I'm drawing, haha! But if you can do that, I've had an Intuos tablet forever, and aside from the mental disconnect, it's great! I've used it for all my backgrounds and shading since I didn't have to be precise. Couldn't use it for linework or sketching though XD
Ooo, and I'd support that choice! I'd definitely do my best to help out!

It does take getting used to drawing on a surface separate from the view, though I'd prefer drawing on the view! Last year I was using an old Surface Pro 3 I got for dirt cheap until it suffered from some screen issues. Though it's the only screen tablet I've actually used for drawing, it wasn't what I'd tout as the best drawing experience even before the issues. So, I definitely want to experience a screen tablet specifically designed for artistic use!
As far as commissions, I need to take some time to consider what kind of commissions I'd do, find a good TOS template and customize it to my needs, figure out how to set up a paypal account for merchant use or something similar... A lot of stuff I haven't given enough thought about!

Oh yeah, my school has Wacoms, and after being introduced to something so nice, it's hard to go back, so I'd definitely recommend one of em for drawing! The laptop is still a great tool, but not nearly as nice
Definitely do some looking-up! I looked at a ton of Deviant's commissions TOS, Journals, and posts to see how I wanted to present mine, and I'm pretty happy with what I came up with. As far as PayPal, that was pretty simple, but transferring money took a bit for me to figure out. I made sure to commission someone through PayPal so I knew how that experience was like. But yeah! It wasn't too difficult for me, and I'm pretty tech unsavvy in comparison to my peers, haha! I wish you the best of luck though!

Ahh your lineless looks amaziiinngggg!! It's so clean and smooth. It legit looks like paint. I just love Fey's 'tude. She always has such a presence about her and even without dialogue, you just know that she's already DONE with you. XD I can't wait to see more of what you can do with your new tablet! Holy crap your art is gonna take off into new realms! :0

AAahh!! Thank you so much!! I used to do oil paintings all the time, so doing this was just sorta natural for me, I guess! And Fey definitely helped, cause MAN is the woman fun to draw with all her SASS!!Ā I've been wanting to do something like this for so long, but I just couldn't on just my laptop, but now I can, EEE!! I can also animate easier and everything, so when I get my time back, ho BOY am I gonna have some fun :3Ā

Awh! Thank you! :D
I know, but the biggest problem is that everyone's on her bad side, Fey-Anna is NOT a people person XD
