Here is a quick walk cycle I put together as practice. I wanted to study how BB-8 would be animated in 2D. I created the cycle in Flash and exported it as an animated gif into Photoshop. Getting hyped for the new film!Related content

I learned one day that BB-8 is a real practical robot! When I first saw him, though, I thought he'd be CG.

The top appears to have form but because of the shadow from the head, the bottom looks more like a circle than a sphere :/
