Michael Collins was a computer programmer working for Roxxon Oil on artificial limbs for the handicapped, or so he thought. Instead, all of his research was helping develop the Deathlok Project. When he objected to his boss, Harlan Ryker, he was betrayed and found that his mind had been placed in the cyborg body of Deathlok. Eventually, he was able to override the programming and take full control of the cyborg and seek justice as… DEATHLOK, THE DEMOLISHER!
