A character I have been enticed by since grade school. Β I saw my first image of Lon Chaney in the vampire make up and was hooked.

YAY FOR MORE LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT!!!
Lon was so cool. Like when you watch his movies, you forget it's him. For the time you watch him in his roles, he's that character. Even without makeup. Like I watched Unholy Three and honestly forgot Lon was playing Professor Echo because I was so wrapped up in the story and the characters. Man he was good.

I like his pose and facial expression, so wicked! It might be an older painting but it's still well done. It's also cool to see how you draw inspiration from silent films, they are very underappreciated nowadays.

I couldn't agree more.Β But being a horror buff since I was small I would look at any film book with great references and became hooked on the man in the beaver hat.Β Too bad we will never see the film.Β Even a minute or two of footage would be awesome.Β Lon Sr. Was brilliant.Β

You're most welcome and thanks for your kind words, I'm doing my best. University isn't that stressful as I initially thought because I didn't get a place in some of the courses I applied for (they are given randomly via computer system).
