This is the fourth and last in my "Fantasy Meets Reality" pieces- a Pegasus (or unicorn, it could go either way
) The idea behind these pieces is how fantasy and reality are linked through visual similarities. That is, some aspects of fantasy are easier to accept because we can equate aesthetic qualities in the creatures/magic beings that look like people or animals from our world. In this case, a silhouette of a horse becomes a Pegasus through wings and a horn on its head. Funny thing about these pieces; they each link to the elements (ie: pegaus=air, undine=water, elf=earth, phoenix=fire) and I didn't intend for that to be so...spooky, huh?
