So, this is my entry for group's Midnight Summer Ball contest!
I have this idea that the celebration takes place on the summer solstice, so even though it's approaching midnight for Jack and Tooth the sky still has some lingering sunset colors in it. Also, I imagine that those trees in the background did have leaves on them, but it's a rather special tree. You see, it's leaves are green the whole year round, but if people touch them on the solstice, the leaves tun into magical glowing lanterns that then become fireworks on the stroke of midnight that night. Thus, as I imagine all the Guardians are attending the ball, there are floating lanterns there representing each of them.
Of course, on an occasion such as this it would be simply criminal not to ask one's lovely date if she would care to dance, yes?

(Originally I was just going to draw Tooth all decked out, but then I read that shipping was encouraged and, well, how could I ignore the opportunity to make some Rainbow Snowcone art? Also, my headcanon dictates that Jack and Tooth are both wonderful dancers)
