Some notes below:

The Red Lands, often mentioned in ancient texts as "ragnarok" or "the ragnarok", as far these ancient texts tell, neither conquerors or any southern man has ever crossed this land. The Ladusian sultanate attempted to march south once, during the reign of Sutra VI. More than half of his army died. Empress Tyrelis attempted to pass it, but failed when her whole expedition died.

The Dark, commonly seen as the edge of the world, many fear this place, there are no texts explaining it's existence. The land is barren with glaciers, and no explorer or merchant dares to sail past the haunted sea, as it is believed to be the home of demons and monstrous sea-predators. Peasants and people of the faith believe that when man first came to Eris, almost all of them perished when the Dark expanded south, beyond Ladusia, and even into the Red Lands. And it is bound to happen again, soon.

The Seixas, east of the Runic Sea lies the huge elvish kingdoms of the Huxas, the sons and daughters of the god Seixa. Huxas, Vapos, and the oldest and the former capital of the Seixas, Almenia. Almenia has existed for 12.000 years, it's banner is ancient and is respected across the entire Huxan continent. When the Dark suddenly expanded, 500 years ago, a power vacuum was created. The Almenians retreated to their shores, the Dark was eventually stopped by an elvish arch-mage. But Almenia lost it's power and now resides to it's shores, none knows if there's anything left in the now frozen highlands of Almenia. Seiza "the founder" was from Almenia, he convinced Almenian elves to migrate across the Runic Ocean into Tyrelia during the demon war, ~3400. He was killed by Qurab the usurper.

Yvan Prima, Dura Yvan hailed from this land, he conquered all of Tyrelia, and Maela in 3064 and created the first western empire. Tyrelis Emporium's mother was Yvan-born.

Tyrelia, home of the Rilians, the Purtids, and the Rimans. It was conquered by Dura Yvan in 3040, the whole region followed Yvan customs, and some even talked the Yvan language. But as time went by, the empire suffered from decay, Dura Yvan's death shook the empire to it's knees, however, it managed to recover, when Dura Yvan's son, Ragnar Dura took the throne. The empire was flourishing once again, and was even stronger than before, with it's professional army. He rebuilt Alka and Fallens into trading hubs, and even today, those cities remain as the most prosperous in the world. After Ragnar's death, Karl Dura was given the throne, he became known as "the drunkard", and was most likely the reason why the first empire was conquered, his son, Jalmar, was most likely killed in his teenage years by Rilian nobles. The Empire was then conquered by Jilianos Trivola, a Rilian noble, the second empire was founded. Tyrelia was scorched in 2855 by Hemian raiders, ever since that event, there has been strong resentment against the Hemians. (There's more, but It'll just bore you to death). Mandor "the holy" lived in Tyrelia until his assassination, ordered by Qurab.

Valopolis, home of thieves, assassins, intrigue, and the Voleran brotherhood. The Valor people faced a great threat after the collapse of the first empire, the Turgic horde threatened to invade their lands. The small, but skilled army of Valopolis had defended against Yvan armies for hundreds of years, but the Turgics had millions of men. But for an unexplained reason, a war was never started, and slowly the Turgics decayed, and was eventually conquered. The west knows little about Valopolis, Empress Tyrelia had heard of a land of intrigue, but it was never found, and was never proven to exist at all. And Valopolis shares few borders with any other realm, only the Yvan's are aware of their (Valopolis) existence, Dura Yvan was aware of Valopolis, but he never set out to conquer it from the west. When he was told by his Rilian advisers that "glory was to be found in the east", he grumbled back -"the only thing waiting for me in the east is a dagger in the darkness". Valopolis has a history of assassinating great Yvan kings. Maroon the sorceress hails from this land, she was murdered on the orders of Qurab.

Maela, with a population higher than Tyrelia and Ladusia, this celestial kingdom has several time challenged the empire and it's authority over the west. Maela was conquered in 3064 by Dura Yvan, strong resistance was met by the Maelans, they were the only region with a strong central authority (the emperor) in the west. And they even managed to repel the Yvan invasion in 3058, it was only when an official named Fargar Rud betrayed the Maelans by proving the emperors illegitimacy to the throne. Fargar Rud was loyal to Dura Yvan and seized the royal palace with 5000 Maelan warriors. Maela is very different compared to the other cultures of the west, their language sounds nothing like Tyrelian, Ladusian or Yvan. Some believe that Maelans first settled in that region thousands of years ago, coming from the Gaetan Plains. However, the culture in Gaeta is largely different as well, Dura Yvan spoke of a "greater east" located even further east, however, no one believes that the east stretches that far in the western lands. Seik of house Imo "the kin-slayer" hails from this realm, Seik died in Qurab's prison, ~3400.

East and South will be covered when I feel like it.
