The Great Hall of Hogwarts was enormous indeed, and Abby though she had seen Great Halls before was rather impressed by it. She stood there by the doors and watched the students walk past her and sit down at their tables for a moment before she stepped in to the room her self. Candles hovered over head and the ceiling was full of bright stars and various clouds, the spell that Dumbledoor used for this was truly amazing for she had never seen any thing like this before.

As she made her way to the front of the room where the head master was standing she felt the whole room watching her though they were chattering among them selves. She didnt look much different than her fellow classmates in her traditional school robe but her black and white plaid skirt and cleavage baring black shirt with her black and white tie was bound to attract attention as well as the knee high buckled boots she wore.

Abby approached a smiling Dumbledoor and stood next to him after shaking his hand gently. She was about to turn and walk to the sorting hat stool when she noticed him, sitting there with his black hair in his face. He looked at her with those dark eyes and a flash of recognition went through them as he glanced at her uncomfortably.
