Rebecca kept moving towards the beam. In one of the alleys she discovered a bunch of dead husks and suddenly heard a movement. She slowly walked towards the sound and when reaching the end of the corner, lashed out aiming her weapon. She encountered Zaeed who's been cleansing the area from Reaper troops. ''Zaeed... What are you doing here?'' asked Rebecca. ''I could ask you the same question, Rebecca Rogers.'' answered Zaeed: ''Why are you here?''. ''I'm going after Shepard. I suggest you to stay out of my way.'' said Rebecca. ''Why should i let you kill her? She's done nothing wrong.'' said Zaeed. ''Quite the opposite, old friend. She's a traitor.'' said Rebecca: ''She turned her back against everyone - her friends, allies and especially me.''. ''You think i'm gonna believe you?'' asked Zaeed. ''If not, then i have no problem landing a slug right between your eyes.'' answered Rebecca: ''I'm giving you one chance to change your mind - either you go join the others in Death Squad's operations base or i'll be on my way with your eyeball.''. Zaeed thought for a few seconds. He knew that Rebecca is not lying and can be a very deadly opponent after looking into her eyes. He lowered his weapon and said: ''You're right. But do you have proof?''. Rebecca gave him a datapad containing all information regarding Shepard's activities. ''Everything is there.'' she said: ''Now go. Miranda and Jacob will be glad to see you again.''. ''You're going there alone?'' asked Zaeed. ''Yes. This is my fight, and i will finish this.'' answered Rebecca.
