Description Some Spike and Rarity fanart.
I wanted to do something for mlpfim-fanart on tumblr and when they said that they like Spike and Rarity, this is what I thought up. I’m a Rarity fan as well actually.
Setting; Appleloosa in the Satin Slipper Sweet Shop Saloon.
(The Satin Slipper Sweet Shop was actually a toy set from the original MLP line, so you won’t see it on any MLP FiM stuff in case you’re thinking it was some obscure show reference.)

Well, for a couple of reasons really.  But the most important reasons are that I think chubby cheeks are cute and I decided to switch up the way I drew him.

No worries.  Everyone has their preferences.  I've drawn him the regular way for commissions, but this was a fun gift piece.

There's a few things I'm waiting for in season four actually.  But if Rarity actually acknowledges that Spike likes her, I'll be happy.

1. More screen time for Princess Luna  (as much as I like other ponies, she's my favorite over all)

2. Twilight Sparkle's role as princess

3.To see if any of the minor characters that are being put in the forefront now are going to get developed  (like Zecora and Big Macintosh)

4. cutie marks for blank flanks

5. To see what happens with Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts academy
