"Daisuki" is the equal of "aisheiru" nowadays in Japan, idiot.
"Daisuki" is not "I kinda like you," it's more like "I care for you and I like you alot."
It's the same theoretically and socially, so don't act high and mighty if you're such an amateur at the Japanese culture and language.
