You can buy a scanner or use a certain type of printer with a built-in scanner.

You can make screenshots using the screen print on certain computers and pasting it on drawing programs.
When I meant "tracing screenshots", I meant creating lineart by tracing lines over the screenshot in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Some of the videos can show you how to trace over other images without destroying the original pictures.
