Poor Maggie, she looks so very unnerved - but then again who wouldn't with the cat Goddess herself drawing that near and telling you that you're one of the most gorgeous creatures' she's ever seen?

This is my first fanart of ANYTHING in a very long time people, so please go easy on me and my attempt at the ever lovely Maggie. She's so adorable and easily one of my favorite characters from Gargoyles, behind Lexington and Hudson of course. <3 And I was looking through some Egyptian stuff and watching gargoyles at the same time and ended up with a 'fancharacter' of Bastet. Whom I immediately when, "Omg she'd so purr and nuzzle up to Maggie and totally freak the poor girl out. XD" Although, I originally wanted Maggie to look both frightened and intrigued, seeing as Bastet is basically saying something along the lines of wishing to be able to wake up to such a beautiful face each evening~ (rather then her ‘brothers’, the bird beaked Horus and dog breathed Anubis <3) Or something along the sorts. xD

Hehe, anyways, this is the sketch, and I really plan on inking and coloring ASAP! D:
