Description I'm currently playing around with the various resampling algorithms of ImageMagick as I find Photoshop rather lacking in this regard.  Here I used the Cosine filter, which IMHO gives decent results.  Will probably stick with it in the future.

I agree with richrockster, I love the sense of scale.  I get the feeling someone is watching from up top!

This is freakin' awesome.  I love the sense of scale to it!

Nice colors! Not sure what exactly you're after here with these filters, but I've peaked at a few of your parameters before and the render settings are a tad high . In my opinion, smooth normals are pointless, and I find enabling "Normals on Z-Buffer" a better method for a smoother image. 2-3 anti-aliasing (which I notice you use) should remove any other naughties as well.

Nice colors!Thanks.
Not sure what exactly you're after here with these filters,It's because I don't use the built-in downscaling function of Mandelbuld 3D.
Instead I save in full size and use external programs to downscale, so I can
choose the algorithm used for resampling.
but I've peaked at a few of your parameters before and the render settings are a tad high .Yeah, I'm probably a bit too paranoid about noise, haha.
I will try to bring it down to some reasonable settings in the future.
In my opinion, smooth normals are pointless, and I find enabling "Normals on Z-Buffer" a better method for a smoother image.I actually read in the Mandelbulb readme that "Normals on Z-Buffer" should only
be used when "Smooth normals" doesn't give decent results.
From what I've seen so far, it can also alter the appearance of the resulting image in
rather unpleasant ways.  So I always try "Smooth normals" first.

I honestly don't notice anything that the smooth normals do except make the image darker and take way longer to render. The "Normal on Z-Buffer" isn't even noticable if you enable it before you render an image.  Of course, this is just my personal preference. I only offered it as a suggestion, but honestly I'd rather not see you go the route that some deviants go around here where they add weird "oilify" filters and such to everything they do.

Don't know what that "oilify" filters are, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't do that.

Cool...Well I think I'm gonna tweak this one. I love the shapes!
