This is an absolutely beautiful piece of work. Β Love it so much. Β I did favourite it to start with, but I had to backtrack simply because of the sheer power of the image. Β The little girl's stare is so piercing, you feel she is staring straight at you; the stare is so powerful and so piercing... Β my second daughter died just before birth nearly five years ago; I often wonder what she would have looked like had she had a chance to grow up - so this little girl appearing to stare into my soul is just a bit too much to handle. Β Such a beautiful, beautiful image - haunting. Β You have a genuinely amazing talent

I'm totally gobsmacked. At first glance I thought it was a photo, then I saw the category, and discovered the close-ups in your gallery. I've never seen such detail, utterly mindblowing, even on a 2x3 meter size. Would love to see the original. Did you paint this from life? How long did it take? How did you get her to hold still that long? (sorry for the questions but I'm absolutely astounded and fascinated)
I particularly love the lighting and how you really capture the essence of innocence (though in her quiet observation she scares me jus the tiniest bit
