verry cool work,
May i ask how u got that 3Dsmax scene onto that pic, did u do this in photoshop or in max ? if in max , is it hard to tell me how to do that ?

On this pic , i've only use photoshop to make a little color correction and and get the pic a bit brighter , the incrustration was done in 3dsmax
The way to do that is quiet simple , just take a photo wich should be a good background for your object ,put it in environement ,and on the perspective/camera viewport background ( alt+B on the selected viewport to go to the pannel) ,after that it's quiet simple to find a angle where your objet looks inside the photo..
To get a better result ,add a plane with a mat/shadows materials wich will only keep the shadows of your object
After that , you just have to do a realistic render wich should work with the pic
I hope this few explanations will help you
It's difficult to explain it (i m not very good in english) , i will maybe make a tutorial soon about it , because your not the first who ask me how i've do theses incrustations
