What a long, arduous process this has been. I think it's safe to say that I do not enjoy creating full-color, painterly comics like this. Around page 7, I concluded that I'd either need to find a more simplistic style or find a new medium.That being said, Tropica will likely find new life as a book series, rather than as a comic strip. I've already finished the first draft of the chapter (all 25 pages of it!), and I'm tweaking that while examining the second. I'll still be illustrating the books, of course, but this way, it reduces the workload in illustrations and I can still tell the story.
So, that's that. Really pleased with how this last page came out.

If you want to publish Tropica as a book, that's fine with me. You're still getting your wonderful ideas out, and that's very much appreciated.
