Description
This is my ode to Syd Barrett!I had paint his essence on 12" vinyl record for an exhibit on 6-14-08 at the Light Gallery in Costa Mesa.

Thank you Jeff! It took a while to apply paint on to the record. But once the base paint was down it became easier.

I've applied paint to records before. I always put gesso on the vinyl first.

I was going to do that but I wanted to have a smooth surface and I wanted to feel the groove of the record while I had painted.
