I made a few tweaks from the template. First, instead of using the buttons that come in the template, I used a hole punch on the gold Hallmark seals to make metalic buttons. Second, I omitted the wrist objects because I think they look weird personally.

Ooh, nice.

I wish I had a couple of Nintendo papercraft, but I don't think I have the patience to do the ones I want. XD

I started off with simpler models and have worked my way up to humanoids. I'm not near crazy enough to try tackling one of the Wii papercrafts yet though.

You did a good job; it's a believable construct of Luigi.

well my eyes fatigue easily but probably only 2 1/2 hours total of assembling, and atleast half an hour to get the recolor correct on the template. So guess around 3 hours total, spread across 2 weeks. Thanks for the

your welcome. so how much paper did you use in order to make it?

the original template and my recolor are both two pages. You have to have Pepekura Viewer to open my recolor. The original one on Nintendopapercraft.com come in a ZIP or a RAR (I forget which) with PDFs though.

which materials did you use?

the template is a recolor off of one of the N64 models posted to nintendopapercraft.com . I just used regular office paper and I've started using Tacky Glue to hold it together. also and Xacto knife works much better than scissors. I used to use a glue stick but it came recommended from other papercrafters to use Tacky Glue, and that really seems to work well and hold up well too. all of my glue-stick models are pealing apart

Nicely done.

Now I'm nostalgic for SMB1, in which Luigi wore a green shirt and white overalls -- by default. In his fiery suit, he looked exactly like Mario.

True. This is a recolor from a model posted on nintendopapercraft.com, and I contemplated giving him white overalls and a green shirt (even though that was not how he looked when he acquired the fireflower) but I decided to go with how he has appeared since Super Mario World.
