Description
She is there one moment, gone the next. Blown away like snowy dust in the wind, her body isn't whole.Some say she's a ghost, a specter that guides lost souls through the blizzards of the arctic winter.
A rare spirit guide for some... She comes to those she feels needs her help.
Her fur is as frost. Her eyes are sapphires. Great wings of ice float over her shoulder blades. She is one with the snow. One with the wind. One with the cold.
Her name is Aneira. She is the Spirit Of Winter.

I love how this turned out- Just something I did to unwind before I started on other things I have to work on. I guess she's a kind of elemental. She has powers over ice and other such things.
My "sick leave" is over, guys, so stuff'll pick back up.
How do you guys like her?

The only thing I would mention is that the body twists round a little too much (or at least in my opinion).

Beautiful! ^^ Love her wings! Doesn't Aneira literally mean 'snow' in some weird language? (Eira is a character in 'Darkness, Obliged', her name means snow.)

The ice wings are really interesting, they're quite a bit sharper and focused compared to the rest of the picture. Rather cool effect, as it forces the eye to focus on the wings, then slowly take in the character. Cool beans.

I wanted to try something new in my way of coloring, and I decided to use it on the wings for just that effect! Thanks.

A mixture of a brush set I found, and blurring and lowering the opacity of a series of white blotches on a separate layer in Photoshop.
