She lost her life while being deep within a book she was reading. She didn't hear those calling out to her to move out of the way as she was crushed. She lingered around the library that was being constructed at the time. Met Sans (Grace) while she was reading a few books to the children. Given no one else could see her she attached herself to Sans for freedom and slowly took up an interest in cooking with her. Mainly reading the cook books and magazines she had.
