Ohmygod, I lovelovelove this so much!
It's not often that I feel really proud of something that I draw. This is definitely an exception. I think I'm getting a lot better at oekaki!
The colors make me really happy.

I can't seem to stick with a style, but I think I'll go with this one. :]

I posted this on the day nine years after the 9/11 terrorist attack. I realized that Yuna's speech at the end of FFX, which inspired this drawing in the first place, could have been taken out of context and used for this situation.

"Everyone, everyone has lost something precious. Everyone here has lost homes, dreams, and friends ... Working together, now we can make new homes for ourselves. And new dreams. Although I know the journey will be hard, we have lots of time. Together, we will rebuild ... The road is ahead of us. So let's start out today. Just, one more thing. The people and the friends that we have lost (or the dreams of Fayth). Never forget them."

I watched the ending of Final Fantasy X: [link]
And it literally gave me the chills. I felt really cold afterwards. So I felt like I had to draw something related to it. But I also hadn't drawn anything nice here in a little while, so I decided to do this. ^-^

Timer's lying. The amount of time I take on pictures is really important to me, so I actually wrote down the times that I was working on this. It actually took about 6 hours and 45 minutes. I think it's obvious that I can't finish a picture in one sitting. I left this open overnight.

Time: Timer says 24h 42m, but it actually took 6h 45m.

Edit: Nin on the Bulbagarden Oekaki reminded me that I forgot to color in the cord on her obi. So I fixed that. :3

Also, I noticed that this is kind of a picture combining the gaming interests of my brother and myself. He likes Final Fantasy, and I like Pokemon. Maybe I should send this to him for his birthday?

Oh, and by the way, just because I want to avoid future controversy--I did NOT trace this. I am completely against tracing and I think it's stupid that the rules were changed to allow it. I drew this using [link] as a reference by eye. I don't think it's even possible to trace anything on oekaki.
