Great job exposing for the highlights! That storm looks so dark and ominous I wouldn't want to be anywhere near there when it hit! I like how you were able to maintain the little bit of forest silhouette along the bottom of the frame. I think you retained just the right amount of foreground on the right to balance the orange tint of the clouds on the left. Beautiful panorama composition.

I'm a sucker for panoramas, and photos that were chopped like your Fading Light
Great capture, I don't think I've ever seen a cloud this huge and I love the blues on the right side of the photo.

Thank you! That is a complete storm, heading over the plains, away from where I was standing. I enjoy composing panoramas, the over all picture quality, for landscapes and sky scape at least, is better than perhaps getting the same shot with a wide angle lens. For me, at least.

Yeah, and it leaves a better resolution than taking the photo and cropping it to a panorama.
