I don't know why, but that song just popped into my head while I was looking at this car. Blackmore plays what is still one of the most awesome guitar solos ever on that cut!

I've loved every band Blackmore's been in. I rather fancy his days with Rainbow, but Deep Purple certainly is a close second...

I saw Dio a long long time ago for the Monsters Of Rock. I think it was at the CU Boulder stadium. If I remember right, he was with BTO, Loverboy, and Van Halen. He was a hell of a rocker for sure...

He was also on Mob Rules and a live album with Black Sabbath. He had quite a resume going long before he went solo.

I was talking to the builder--forgot to get his name, but I'm an old fart, so that's my excuse--and he said he just started putting together with no particular plan in mind! It's the best rat rod at the show! He said he might put big tires and a big suspension on it, and it could be a monster truck by next year's show.

That has to still be one of the most awesome guitar solos ever! I think my choice of song may be a little sarcastic, but it popped into my head while I was deciding what to post. This is one of the most interesting rat rods I have seen, since they started becoming popular in shows. Thank you very much for your comments and faves! We just had our big annual car show in our neighborhood, so I'm an a car kick, right now!
