Description Guitar

He perches on the edge of his bed,
Huddled with his head bent down,
His body cradling the guitar

His fingers slide down the neck,
They pluck the strings
Teasing music from the guitar

He plays a simple tune,
Bits of scale glued to chords,
Notes filling the quiet room

His eyes are barely open
Looking only at the guitar,
Immersed in the sound and feel

For now he is absorbed,
Other tasks can wait
Just now he only plays
