Ahh, these are lovely. The effort to kind of find a balance between expression of personality and the original body shapes is really good here. And I really like this droogs- you can just about see him casually menacing someone for scuffing his show.

Thank you! The hardest one for me was Droogs, it was an interesting challenge not to make him look too much like Spades Slick but a person of his own. : D
I'm totally in love with the way Path writes him; I think that certain type of menacing was what I tried to get down.

Sure, the main visual difference in the continuity proper is just that Droogs is taller and a little skinnier. I think you took that in a good difection. It has character.
Reminds me a little of the bad guys from Some Like It Hot... 'Spats', wasn't it? In a good way.

Heey, that must've been what I had in mind when drawing this! I recall I was sort of thinking of Peter Lorre when doing Deuce and John Goodman for Boxcars (...yeah, I don't even know), but I couldn't remember the mental reference for Droog for the life of me. "That guy from that old movie", I kept calling him. :ยดD
This has been a useless bit of information.
Some Like It Hot is such a bloody fantastic film, though!

Some like it hot is aone of the *finest* of films~ C'mon, its got drag, Jazz, Marlyn Monroe, songs, and gangsters. A movie can;t take much more awesomeness without popping. But then, I;ve been on a bit of a marlyn monroe kick since I found out most of her filmography is on netflicks' streaming gig.
And, lets se... that was George Raft...

Whaddya think? We have a ringer? :3

Close enough for me, that works. : D
Incidentally, if you like noir films I'd highly recommend a rare one called Laura (1944). It doesn't have the ever-so-lovely Marilyn in it, but it's still one of my favorites. Even people who generally aren't into detective films have liked it.

Oooh, I'll have to give it a look. I;ve been getting that old film noir itch again... Double Indemnity or something would be nice~
