Description
These are two photostitches that I took from l'Aguille du Midi, which is a mountain station around 3842 meters above sea level. The view is from the Southern mountains looking toward the valley and the Northern set of mountains.

One might notice two analogous stitches, with the one on top being cloudy and bluish while the one at the bottom having clear and sunny weather. The stitch at the top was taken on October 4th, while the one at the bottom was taken on the 5th. In a span of 24 hours, the weather had basically flipped over itself.

During the 4th of October, we had a temperature of around -15 degrees centigrade, with lots of clouds, snow, and high winds. The day after, the temperature was slightly below freezing, with clear sunny skies, and just a few gusts of wind every now and then.

Mountaineers often recount that up in the mountains, the weather is very fickle; and that one must not allow a calm day's weather lull one into complacency. It was very true with my bit of Alpine experience.
