Hi Graham. Love your amazing work. I like your very unusual starship concepts and the sense of massive scale. The vortex generator concepts are closer to what I envision as necessary for FTL transport or even near "c" velocity. I've also been doing R&D and preliminary design of colossal LTA airships (since 1975) with oblate spheroidal hulls and magneto-dielectric power for extra lift & propulsion. I developed some beautiful and novel designs for mobile island cities as well. It would be great to have you on the AI-enabled Ark Fleet R&D and Design team, soon to be incorporated. We are trying to raise the $1500 student entry fee for the $5 million IBM Watson AI XPRIZE competition. I hope you'll join us. We will develop SkyArk 1, the first prototype, in cyber-space, for an AI-enhanced VR new-world training game for future arkship crews and residents. Hope you don't mind me using your "Arrival" for our Crowdfunding campaign, with credits & links for you. Thanks & keep up the great work! Michael

Hi Graham - Thanks! Glad to get your positive reply. Sorry to take so long to get back to you. With the scramble, holiday prep and helping my best friend move to a great new house, I'm more swamped than usual. However, aother thing I forgot to mention, re: possible collaboration, is that I would love to interview you and have your help designing & testing a truly new level AI-enhanced graphics & CAD/CAM app suite, co-created with IBM's Watson and/or OpenAI.
That is actually, a central aim of the AI XPRIZE project. I actually have a pretty dim view on the odds of any Earthlings surviving a first expedition through interstellar space (mainly due to unforeseen obstacles, alien proteins, lethal allergies, etc.).
I really want the new-world training game to demonstrate how a Heaven on Earth kind of ancient civilization works.
But I hate learning apps that are products of bad and/or stupid design, including inherently insecurable, unreliable OSes and network infrastructures.
For more on a possible approach to a viable alternative, check out the tech history, specs & info at the Green Arrays Inc. website.
To see what I posted and your credits, go to my new Arkship R&D and Design group at F.book.
If you want to be a core group member of the emerging R&D group, send me an email, and I'll start sending you updates (plus prior news).
Thanks again & enjoy happy holidays, etc. ~ Michael

Will be nice to see that structure from many other perspectives (I've never use Mandelbulb3D but I'm sure you have it or can recreate it). Amazing work.
