Carston and Renault are up to their tricks again!
This time their mark is the very wealthy (and very snobby) Lord Archambalt. Renault is posing as a trader, recently arrived from the dragon lands in Scandinavia, who has a "very rare" dragon egg to trade. Archambalt is skeptical, but this young English fellow seems mighty keen on buying the egg from the dragon and Archambalt certainly won't be outbid by some commoner...
(Naturally, it's actually a hollow clay egg poorly painted blue and pink worth nothing at all, but the Finch brothers will be happy to take his gold nonetheless! XD )

Hehe, when I first saw this I thought it was a con like a comic con and got a little confused. o.o
But this sounds so like them, tricking some poor soul into shoveling out the money for something like that... poor guys.
