Yay, I am not the only one who still loves BG! I must say, it is Amazingly well done. In case you have not heard, they are redoing both of the BG games. Same stories, but done with better graphics, etc.

I know the feeling. My computer is about the same age, and it was not exactly top-of-the-line when it was new.
What I am most curious about is what D&D system they are going to use. Are they going to use the same one, or will it be done with the 4e system? I would personally prefer that they keep the same one. What about you?

Sad but true. It would be kind of interesting to see which prestige classes they allowed, though.

Indeed. The thing is, sure they should even out the rules for BG1 and BG2, but should they go for the 4th edition rules, while it would not have huge impact on the PC, it might completely disfigure the NPCs, which is exactly what made the whole BG series so good, imo.

I agree completely. One of the reasons why I could keep playing through BG2, was because I could have one NPC in the group be different, and it would completely change the conversations that occurred.
