I still haven't found a way of producing clear fine detail, especially spirals, even at a large scale. There are secrets I'm not privy to !

I usually render at 6000 large, sharpen a bit in Photoshop and reduce to 1600.

Well I did get advice when the redux group started but I can't always remember what to do.
