SP #5100 (Richard)
Backstory: Richard is a General Electric 70-tonner, built in March 1949 as Southern Pacific #5100. He was sold in 1977 to the Weyerhaeuser Timber Company as #2901 and used on their Springfield, Oregon division. Weyerhaeuser’s Springfield line was abandoned in 1986. Richard was purchased by Dick Samuels in 1989. Shortly after he acquired it, Samuels painted Richard in his original Southern Pacific colors, but with "Samuels Steel." in place of Southern Pacific. Richard Wasn't very fond of that he wanted  his full Southern Pacific paint. Samuels has since had a change of heart and given Richard his historic road name much to his delight.
Personality: Richard is a Happy-Go-Lucky Engine, although he is disappointed he pretty much never gets used. He is older than Eileen but doesn't have much experience out on the road. He tries his best but can be a bit clumsy at times, He Adores Eileen and wishes to gain her knowledge.
East Portland Traction Co. #100 (Brian)
Backstory: Brian is a 600-horsepower SW1 built by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors in February 1952.
He was originally owned by the Portland Railroad & Terminal Division of the Portland Traction Company and has worked on the East Portland branch for nearly His entire existence.
He was joined in March 1953 by another SW1 #200 (Name Unknown). In the mid-1980s, Brian was sold to Watco Companies and used at a paper mill in Wallua, Washington, while #200 was sold and ended up serving a grain elevator in Superior, WI. Brian was purchased by Dick Samuels in 1987 for use on His original line, which would become the East Portland Traction Company, and was repainted back to His original orange paint scheme, which He retains today. Brian was also used for a time on the Molalla Western in 1993 just after Dick Samuels took over that line, but is typically used on the East Portland line and calls the Milwaukie shops home.
Personality: Brian is a hard worker on the East Portland Division, He is proud to still be running on his original line but somtimes misses his brother.
He doesn't like things out of line or out of place and tries to teach Richard his ways but he doesn't really listen to him.
OPR 1127 (Craig)
Backstory: Craig is a dynamic-brake-equipped SW8 built by EMD in January 1954 as Southern Pacific #4622.

He was renumbered to #1127 after 1965. Craig was sold to become Lewis & Clark Railway (LINC) #81 in 1984. He was sold to Livingston Mountain Locomotive Works (LMLX) in 2003 and the LINC leased him back. He was purchased by Dick Samuels in 2004. he t still wears the remains of the Lewis & Clark Railway's Northern Pacific-inspired paint scheme. Craig was initially assigned to the East Portland Branch, but by 2007 was transferred to the Molalla Branch where he became the primary locomotive, and could be found in either Liberal or Canby. With the newly acquired SW900 #901 (Ruth) assigned to the Molalla Branch in 2008, and SW8 #801 (Myron) restored to regular  service, Craig was moved to the Milwaukie shops in 2010 for eventual restoration to his Southern Pacific colors.
Personality: Craig is a grumpy engine, he doesn't like being told what do especially by Brian. Craig was often disliked by his collegues back on the Southern Pacific and Lewis and Clark Railroad, Brian is kind of happy that Craig is under restoration so that he doesn't have to listen to him complain all day.
Samuels Pacific Industries #45 (Samuel)
Backstory: Samuel is a General Electric 45-Tonner. He has had one of His two engines removed, and in its place is a tie crane. He is lettered for Samuels Pacific Industries, an earlier Samuels business name. With only one 150-horsepower engine, Samuel is now more a piece of maintenance equipment than a locomotive, and is stored along SE McBrod Avenue near the Milwaukie shops.
Personality: Samuel is a old and tired engine, he hasn't been used in years and makes small talk with anyone who will talk to him. When he's not doing that he is usually sleeping
he is happy that Richard Samuels grandson is trying to purchase him atleast then he will have work to do.
