yeah, sad. sad may fit.
a person i like shared his thoughts about the earthquake in japan 11 months ago.
these words didn't leave my mind, so i tried to deal with all the upcoming emotions in any way. so i started drawing. even if i promised some persons to draw pictures for them first, i.. just had no choice. *laughs a bit*
i didn't knew what i wanted to draw, neither the person nor the situation or whatever. so the picture started to create itself..
i thought about the situation back then, the emotions i had those days, the conversation with friends living over there.. repeatingly asking them if they are okay, asking myself if the others i didn't hear of were okay, too.. the only person i knew was save was him, cause he wasn't in japan during that time. i wondered how it may feel to know what's going on inside your own country, unable to call your family or friends. just getting the sparse news shown in the TV. the feeling, that everybody you ever knew may be dead but you, you are okay. you are save.
the feeling of not being able to do anything. you can't do anything but hoping and praying. your hands are bound, all you can do is watch and wait.
all you know is, that you are okay.
