Pepper gave a small sigh, grimacing as clouds of steam billowed from his beak. He couldn't stand the cold, at all really. The only reason he'd even made his way into this dumb forest was to play a game of tag with Qibli and a couple of other wynglings he was acquainted with. Where the heck were they, anyway? He must've been standing there for hours before they finally showed up-- and when they did- it was just Qibli. Pepper frowned. "Woah! Not happy to see me, steakhead?" Qibli chirped. Pepper was tempted to smack him silly right then and there, but he held back. "That's... Not my name, Qibli. Where are the others? And what is that...?" Pepper questioned, eyes locked on the black cloth hanging haphazardly around his companion's neck. Qibli looked incredibly pleased that he'd asked. "Oh! This is for you, actually! It's a scarf!" He paused, taking it off with his mouth and holding it. "Mmf, I cn wrahp it for yoo too, iff you wanmt," was his muffled remark. Sure, Pepper figured, it's not like he knew how to himself. So, Qibli did. And they went back to the nursery, where it wasn't cold as hell. (201/100 words)
