EDITOR NOTE:OKAY PEOPLE! I KNOW THE LITTLE GUY IS NOT AN ORC!
But '2 Bad ass Orcs & a Troll' is a lame title.
Titaneer asked me to do a commission piece of some World of Warcraft characters of his ands some friends, . When I started, I sketched some lame layout which looked like three guys waiting for the bus. So I said to myself “Self, this is bullsh*t! You can do much better than this.” So I looked at a few Joe Mad pics to get in the mind set, then got to work. The more I worked on it the better it got. I’m so proud of the finish piece that I asked Titaneer if I could post it on DA, which I normally don’t do unless the customer asks me to. The way I see it, I know I drew it, but you paid for it. Why should I show the world what you bought and paid for?
Anyway, he said sure so here you go. And here little bio on the characters.
Gruxar: (left) Serious minded orc shaman. Wears a kilt. Strong sense of justice. He's got a very keen tactical mind and quite the opposite of Damous's brute force approach to everything. Loves lightning. Chieftain of the Blacktooth Grin Clan. Has a small pet beholder named Willy.
Moogi: (middle) Fun loving, quixotic troll priest. Likes helping people of all races. Adores small, cute animals, especially bunnies. Currently his favorite animal is his little baby elephant named Peanut. Also likes to fish and cook. Constantly has to help bail Damous out of trouble. Tends to drink a lot.
Damous: (right) Mischievous orc warrior. Wields a large two-handed axe and loves punching giraffes with his bare hands. Kind of dirty and loves fighting. He's also Gruxar's twin brother but you wouldn't think it from the way he acts. Headstrong and likes rushing into battle without thinking. Despises cute animals, much to Moogi's chagrin. Champion of the Blacktooth Grin Clan.

nice rendering, have you ever tried to make the like work colored, like a just a darker shade of the color within it, it will change your style completely. just somethin for you to experiment with

You mean color the line art? If so, yes, some of my older pictures I have colored the line art like this one ( [link] ) but that was a different coloring style I used that needed more work on the line art. Much more work that what I do now, (I get lazier as I get older) but I'm still working on ways reproduce that look.

Hehe, I was kind of surprised to see a troll depicted as being kind of small too, but I looked at it this way:
1. The art was still really frakkin' cool!
2. They probably drank Elixers of Giant's Strength to look taller than Moogi. Which would also explain why it looks like they could crush a pack of kittens with their abs

1: trolls are taller, 2: trolls only have 3 fingers and 2 toes, 3: otherwise, this looks freaking awesome XD

Technically trolls have 4 fingers, two thumbs, and 4 toes.
1: Thumbs aren't fingers, they are just fellow digits.
2: If trolls only had 3 fingers and 2 toes, they'd probably have been cut in half by Lordaeron steel first.
3: Watch how you form da words. Things come out wrong if you're stu-- I mean-- not CAREFUL.

4: Don't really care about the specifics of 'Middle Earth-ish' characters.
5: They're fantasy characters and shouldn't be locked into a certain look or feel; it's not Star Trek.

Taller, lankier, maybe wider, but certainly not bigger. Big has to do with mass, which trolls are not built to have. Orcs, ogres, and Tauren cover that particular playing field.

Looks like baseball isn't the only thing hit hard by the 'steroid era'.
Gruxar’s killing ratio shot way up those last battles near the end of the war. And before it would take 2 or 3 chops with an ax for Damous to cut off a head, now he can do it in one swing.
