Hiya Graphicsoul,
Overall you have some wonderful manips, and of them all, I found this one to contain some major contradictions.
For example, the sea crashing around the rock is quite a violent occurrence, but the mermaid's hair remains unmoved by the wind. Similarly, the smoothness and colour of her skin reflects a warmth that the scene itself neither suggests nor reflects.
Unlike your sketches which show a good understanding of light source, this manip shows lighting conflicts. The light source of the sea comes from the left, while on the rock it appears to come from directly above, and the light source on the model comes from the right.
I do like the tail fin and the little fin you've put on her arm; a neat touch.
