She was my sister's cat. When my sister was only two, this cat, only a kitten herself, chose her. They grew up together and Precious made herself a reputation. If a strange dog invaded the yard, she would attack it and chase from the property. Whenever we got a dog she would teach it cat-manners. She'd entice it to approach her, then chase it around the yard. She also learned how to turn on the radio, loudly, which she would do at 3 AM for the sheer joy of watching the household erupt in chaos. She was the kind of cat who was keenly aware of your emotions and would try to comfort you when you were sad. After about a decade, this kitty disappeared. It's been a couple of years since I last saw her, but I have never met another cat as intelligent, spunky, and full of personality as Precious Chosen. She's one huge reason I hope- I mean, I'm pretty sure- that pets will be in Heaven. Until then, we miss you, Precious.(Now that I live on my own and have the freedom to do so, I keep my pets inside for their safety.)

My cat looked the same but it was a he and he got poisoned..
I hade no other choice then put him to sleep in the end.
I still miss him..

Aww, that is so sad. Animals have a way of leaving pawprints on our hearts and being always loved and missed. I know we'll remember our cats forever. I don't think I'll ever "get over" missing them. I dreamed recently (for the hundredth time, it seems) that she came back and my other kitties that have died were really ok after all. Cats are wonderful and unforgettable.

Yes I know, I wear my kitty close to my heart.
I was so down when I asked the vet the make him sleep, I asked mom and dad to cremate (I so hope I spelled it right..) him and some of the ashed are in a locket and ever since that day I never took it off.
The biggest pile of ashes was placed under his favorite tree and what was left in an urn.
In a way he is still close now, but I cant hug him anymore or stuff like that.

That's a really good idea for a way to memorialize your kitty. At least he is close. I think I want to do exactly that when that day comes (don't like to think about it!!!) for my sweet current cat.

Its a dark topic..
But its part of every life.
But the two cats now have a royal life
Eat, sleep, play and molesting the paper on the wall -_-' my perants dont like the last part.
One got the message but the second one.. I dont know when he will learn that he cant use that paper to sharp his nails, they have a toy they can use for it but still.

We had a cat exactly how your cat acted. He was hilarious. Teddy was a normal kind of gray tabby, but probably one of the most intelligent cats I've ever known.. he'd seem to understand anything you said, and even try to 'talk' back to you. I loved him. And he lived a long life, fortunately, though it doesn't take away the pain.
I'm sorry about your cat.. but I'm sure she and Teddy are somewhere safe now, playing with yarn or catching mice. (: <3

Aww, thanks so much! Yeah... now that I live on my own, my kitties live inside with me where it is safe. Blasted "Pets outside" rule that my parents had. She wasn't the only kitty we had that disappeared or died due to outdoor causes. Thanks for the kind words!

Yeah, I knew a few people who let their pets go outside, they always poofed, luckly on of their cats came back.I have never attually had a pet, but it is sad to hear when someones pet, especially like the one in the picture.^^ welcome.

Beautiful painting! I thought it was a photo too from the thumbnail. XD I love being able to see the paint strokes and canvas texture, and the little white hairs are super well rendered next to the larger white areas. The background is a great colour too <3
