Well this is my somewhat cynical, kinda gothic take on a fairy-tale classic. In my opinion, Rapunzel must have been bored in that tower waiting for old Princey to come; if I were her I'd be a little more proactive...but maybe that's the raving feminist in me! So, this took me flippin ages, which is depressing because it isn't nearly as good as it looked in my head! Her hair is done with biro, and the rest is some lovely cheapo colouring pencils I picked up, hence the shoddiness of the dress! I'm so annoyed with the dress, just can't get the hang of material! Also (I know this sounds like an excuse) but the scan has made it look really grainy. Grrr!! Anyway, it's kinda a gifty for my sister, who will probably never see this site. The sentiment is still there, she's a beautiful, clever girl, who doesn't need to wait around for no man to rescue her!! Life is for the living, so go live it!! NB: I forgot to say, those are scissors in her hand, she's thinking about cutting off all those binding locks. Which will no doubt be very liberating, only problem is; how will she get out of the tower?....
