January was used to dealing with the elderly, he wasn't opposed to a meep being his partner for preparing cookie dough to celebrate the return of the starmakers. In fact, after watching and listening to the small purple creature he even grew rather fond of him, seeing the energetic generally joyful young meep was refreshing, and even a reminder of his own childhood. Though they seemed more talkative than he ever was, he didn't find them annoying even once.
