Description
Another etching from '04 and more baby doll inspired imagery. With this etching, I simply started with the dark top, burning and reburning the plate to get a nice dark tone while working the spidery lines out. These soon came to form the figure which seems to be showing the way.God I miss a good etching studio
Again, the pigments used on this etching was black printers ink with a touch of burnt umber worked in for a bit of warmth.

Funny you should say that! I was watching a LOT of films by the Brothers Quay at the time who's films were the inspiration for said videos

Funny thing is Tool has been in the very forefront of my mind for the last month now because I saw them preform flawlessly not too long ago.

That gives such a fantastic apperance with that taste of brown and the etchy earthy organic lines. The figure is very impressive as well, and fits perfectly with that writting. It has a great texture to the whole thing, you should have made a story book out of the class.

I almost did, but I was only able to produce 5 good prints in the time alouted. Have I mentioned that I'm damned slow?
