I'm over the moon, and I dunno why. So I've taken a break from the dark lifestyle I live, and made a happy wallpaper! It was started in the GIMP and finished in PhotoShop (Mainly for the 'be happy' text, coz the GIMP didn't do it right
). It's wallpaper sized, so you can slap it on your fave desk and be happy!This wall has also been created because I noticed people aren't happy. Several people I know have contemplated / attempted suicide. I have seen this around me so many times, and don't want to see it again. Suicide is never an option. People WILL miss you, even if you think they won't. Nobody in this world isn't loved. There will ALWAYS be people who will love you, no matter what your past is, what you look like or where you come from.

i'm so setting this as my wallpaper....cus everyone at work the other day was all mad over nothing so i used the whole "lets all be happy" phrase....only i can say it so people actually listen, because i rock of course, lol just kidding

but when i said be happy i thought of the "don't worry, be happy" song, and yeah that made me remember that the guy who wrote that song killed himself, and somehow i found that ironic and it made me even more happy....that makes me sound twisted, but I'm really not (honest!)

I can tell you're not twisted. I'm more twisted than you are 
And the guy killed himself? VERY ironic, but sad.. suicide is the worst thing you could ever do, and your family would be devistated, feel guilty ect, so that's why I do my best to help people out when they need it.

It's funny sometimes how me and my friends will surprise the teacher by making a twisted comment though lol....of course we never mean it seriously (well i don't anyways) but it always manages to surprise them anyways lol....and employee of the month, i feel so special that they voted me
And yeah, i agree, suicide is the cowards way out. I guy in my town (a little town where no one ever kills themselves...like population of 400) anyways back to the story, his daughter had cancer, then he got sick, he didn't want to go to the doctor and get it checked out, he was afraid he had cancer, so he killed himself....his daughter was suffering, and he killed himself, now thats the cowards way out!

That is pretty cowardly, but you have to understand that sometimes when people are depressed, their minds don't work well. They think the whole world is out to get them, and when you prove to them that they aren't, they deny it and say that you're a liar. They refuse help, as they think they can't be helped, they ARE helpable, as I have proven many many times, but they don't think they are. They just wanna die, get it over and done with. That's crap. Life is full of of hills and valleys. Make the most of life so it's all smooth sailing..

haha. i've noticed people that aren't happy too. let's cheer them up! cute.
i think this could have benefited from being done completely in photoshop, or at least getting rid of the pixely curve edges somehow. although i do rather like how the smiley face itself has sort of rough and ragged edges (but not pixely). anyway, be happy.

Yeah the jagged edges on the smiley face were purposeful, but not the pixelated edges. The GIMP doesn't seem to do circles that well, and from recollection, neither does Photoshop CS2. I should find a script-fu script to generate perfect circles.
