Wonderful picture, with a lot of emotion in it.
The only flaw I could point out would be that I think the moon would be very hard to produce as a stained glass window like that, as it would require cutting circles into the larger piece and fitting frames in the holes. I think usually the lighter surface area of the moon would be composed of numerous pieces, too.
The being said, I was too lost in the picture to notice that for a long time.

You are right, the stained glass design is a bit flawed (not only the moon, but Luna face too). Don't actually know anything about creation of such mosaics, just wanted to try to mimic one.

I have successfully created a 4+ ringed "bull's eye" out of stained glass (copper foil and lead solder, not came). It "just" requires a diamond-grit grinding tool that you can hold at an angle to the work (in my case it also half-ruined said bit, but that was partially because I didn't fully know what I was doing, and partially because it was made of brass under the diamond, rather than a harder metal). Given how common diamonds are in Equestria and that The Sister's can afford the best artisans in the kingdom... come to that the whole window could have been made in a hybrid glass-blowing/fused glass(look it up) style while still molten by a unicorn artisan... there are major advantages to being able to manipulate things without touching them... or for that matter, a young or dexterous dragon could have made it with their bare claws (fireproof, remember?) and using their own breath as the heat-source.
tl;dr
Equestria has the technology to make this as pictured, if not BETTER.

I noticed one length of lines without a line thru them at the right edge.
I wonder if Celestia is so crazy because she spent so long doing so much work and didn't get any good sleep in a thousand years?

That section has actually a line through, but its shadow eats the white part completely. Bad angle. You may notice it as a slightly seen black shape, though.
Celestia can't display her grief to anyone - she is the goddess, the only one left for ponies to rely upon for a thousand years. That one is a rare moment when she can allow herself to not pretend to be all happy and cheerful. And yes, she can't have a good sleep - and who could in her situation?..

I'm not sure if I'm the only one to have noticed this so far, but it says, "Need More Wall" at the very top in the shadows. Close to where the light turns into shadow.
