Symphony roamed the desert alone. She had for a while now so this evening was no different. Searching for food, safety, and avoiding danger. She kept all this in mind as she traveled. As the crescent rose in the sky she saw a strange tunnel in the moonlight. She approached, cautious. It was then she spotted a strange datura not far away. It hobbled along a path, staring vacantly almost in a trance. Symphony found her voice as she called out to the green coated stranger. “Hello?” It stopped in its tracks before craning its head to stare towards her direction, never truly making eye contact. “The tunnels..” its voice was broken and crackling. “They carry such a dread, such a danger..” it spoke in almost nonsensical sentences. Symphony kicked at the grass nervously. The stranger continued their path. The night seemed so much more cold suddenly. As much as the danger seemed to ward her off, the tunnel could be a potential shelter for the night, and if not at least she’d be aware of potential danger.
