Description My OC Victoria.
I'm starting to develop a consistent shading style, it seems.

I don't think anyone noticed, but I'm way less active here than in the previous months. This is because of school and other commitments that have started, and now; since I have pretty bad time management skills; I can only find time to draw on weekends/during lunch break/on holidays, pretty much. I drew the sketch for this in math class though

hiya~ im here to give some feedback on this~~
firstly this is very cute and the shading isnt too bad on it
i will be picky on this, because it'll be things to keep your eyes open for.

the anatomy seems decent, id just watch the head a bit, it looks a little large.

the shading is also not bad, but you may want to define a light source since its a bit here there and everywhere. also watch out on how much you use the fringe tool, i personally wouldnt heavily rely on it if you can, i did it once before and it can get limited

other than that, id say maybe add some highlights to the hair, and work on the smoothness/flow of the picture, as some parts seem a little forced.

but anyways, if you need extra help, do ask, if not, keep going because you'll improve for sure~

Thank you so much for the critique! I'll definitely keep a lookout for these things in my future drawings I've never really paid attention to light sources, but I can see how it is important to the composition of a picture. I'l definitely work on that.

May I ask what the fringe tool is? Is it similar to the stroke tool on Photoshop? I've been trying to tone down on using it in my more recent drawings (after I overused it in this piece) since it made it look like there were random shadows where there shouldn't be.

Again, thank you so much! Your critique means a lot to me~!

awesome~~

oh ok, sorry, in sai theres ther fringe tool, and it probebly is similar to the stroke tool as what it does is adds a lineart around the brush stroke you make

aww your welcome~~~ i look forward to seeing you improve~

I see, so it's pretty much the same as the stroke tool.
