Description A slightly-younger Hydra than was last seen in "Jangled":

The lesson learned in working on this: even a partial view of one of these guys requires so much thought. The murky background was fun to play with, though.

Amazingly well done, great work on the spikes She looks so badass here
You mentioned sometime back when I asked I think... about Dottie that her history would have something to do with Xenorcas, would Hydra be a part of that?

Great job, love the dark tones and colors

Thank you.

Somehow, yes, I imagine the two would be connected (I don't have any stories/RPs that Dot could otherwise be involved in). Maybe Hydra's host was Dottie's as-yet-unnamed mother, or something of that nature. I haven't worked out anything definitive yet, as each case of drawing and coloring xenorcas digitally has proven to be such a time-consuming project.

The expressive quality simply having lips gives this design, I like to play with. Thanks.

Occupational hazard for anyone employed in the project to capture one, I think.

I'm glad to know you and others approve of the idea.

I'm only sorry I don't have more work to show for them. My method of sketch-outline-with-mouse-and-color becomes a painfully slow process when it comes to this subhect. I'll break down and buy either a scanner or tablet sometime this year, probably. That might speed things up.

I know the feeling... I have a tablet to work with, but it's painfully small XD [link]

I also worked a long time with drawing on paper then draw it on the computer... Now I've settled with just paper drawings, as I mostly focus on photography

Small would work best for my desk. There's barely enough space for my tower and monitor as it is. Anything that speeds up working on lineart.

I went the same way, back when I first opened this account. Wanting to learn how to work with digital art is what brought me back to DA.

Well, I can only work with it on my school laptop XD
(But I don't mind... No I can work in PS CS6 instead of Gimp)
It refuse to get installed on my desktop computer and my other laptop D:

And I'm glad you came back to dA, 'cuz I love your art
