Description My collection, as of today.

Well, this set-up took a few days to finish. I don't have an exact number. But pictured here are at least 60 Transformers figures, mostly from the Bayverse and Animated lines. They have been obtained from a variety of sources: the local Wal*Mart, online, Burger King, the local Goodwill store I used to work for. There is no real method to my collecting, other than favorite characters or favorite figures.

This photo is one of two intended shots. One of two is meant to showcase my collection is their alternative modes. Some will not reappear in the next photo for particular reasons. Either they do not convert or they are damaged. For instance, Deluxe Bumblebee (behind G1 Starscream) is kept in car mode because he's missing his head (Goodwill find, from surplus given to us by Target). Likewise, Voyager Incinerator (left of BW Megatron) is missing half his cockpit. But it does not hinder his robot appearance enough to excuse him from the next photo shoot.

Forgive the surrounding clutter. It was either use this table, or attempt to move all these guys to the kitchen and back without my mother and/or brother throwing a fit.

My favorites?
-Deluxe Premium Barricade (07)
-Deluxe Starscream (Universe)
-Deluxe Prowl (Animated)
-Deluxe Blackarachnia (Animated)
-Voyager Blitzwing (Animated)
-Voyager Starscream (Animated)
-Scout Baron Ransack von Joy (ROTF)
-Scout Knock Out (ROTF)
-Deluxe Sideswipe (ROTF)
-Voyager Starscream (ROTF)
-Voyager Grindor (ROTF)
*this list does not necessarily represent my favorite characters; just the toys

[edit] I never did get around to converting them all to robot mode for another shoot. And there have since been some new additions. Perhaps I'll try this again someday...

One of these days I’ll figure out how I want to offload them. Most haven’t seen the outside of a tote in years now. πŸ˜…

Thank you. It's quite a nice set to have, incomplete though all the represented lines are - because they all store nicely together in one tote whenever I can't display them. Which is quite often because nowadays my little, twenty-one-year-old brother won't pass up an opportunity to come in and mess with (destroy) them.

Not really. I lack the space to properly display them all together. As of now most of them are stored in a tote. XO

And the collection has since grown since I took this photo. The next set-up would HAVE to be done upon the kitchen table.

Seems like a pretty cool hobby. TF fans unite! Well, I just don't have that much toys.

You still working on any TF music videos or such?

I can remember telling myself after the first one, Deluxe Premium Jazz (07), that one example was enough. What a liar I turned out to be.

Music videos? I am and I'm not. For various reasons.
-The dreaded "Land Of Confusion" project is still stalled. I want to include some ROTF footage, but Magic DVD Ripper crapped out again. Trying to scrape together money to just buy the damn software already.
-I began an almost half-aft attempt at the Tropic Thunder remix of "Name Of The Game" (set to TFA). Currently stuck at the Simple Jack verse.
-Several are in pre-production, all to TFA:
"Fake It" by Seether (to the Decepticons)
"Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace (another to the Decepticons)
"Burn It To The Ground" by Nickelback (a montage of action)
"Bodies" by Drowning Pool (a montage to Decepticon-centered action)
"Haunted" by Disturbed (a tribute to TFA Blitzwing, inspired by the fanfiction story 'The Night Within' )

You've got quite a list of projects. Well, apparently, so do I.

For Transformers, there's a few.
-"Encounter the Ultimate" by The Immortals, who, you may already know, did the Mortal Kombat theme song.
-"What I've Done" and "New Divide" by Linkin Park.
-"It's My Life" by Bon Jovi.
-That theme song used for the '07 movie by Deceptibot or something.
-"Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin.
Do you know who hoodihoo is on Youtube. He makes great TF MVs.
Halowise, they contain many sources. I'll be uploading one with "I Will Not Bow" by Breaking Benjamin later.
Others include all the songs listed above, and more.
-"Locking Up the Sun" by Poets of the Fall.
-"Changes" by 3 Doors Down. You inspired me to do this one.
-"Crawling in the Dark" by Hoobastank.
-"The One" by Elena Seigman. It's a request actually.
-"Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria. Same as above.
If you have any sugestions, I'm open. Btw, are you up to date with Halo Legends? And are you aware of the Halo Reach reveal during the Spike TV Video Game Awards next Saturday, the 12th? From what I heard, it's gonna be part of the opening cinematic for the game.

Looks like we both have lists to be keeping us busy.

Suggestions? Hm. I'd have to think about that one. Part of the reason I don't do Halo vids at the moment is due to lack of space on my computer for the raw footage. I'm hoping a laptop around Christmas time will give me all the memory I need to work with a multitude of fandoms at once.

An example of dumb: I go through the trouble of uploading every episode of Band Of Brothers, over several nights, and then don't do anything with it. Sheer inspiration, it seems, is always a factor.

As so often is the case, I'm behind on my Halo news. Between that cetaceans and Transformers, it could work as a nice trifecta. Work has been slow enough for it, as my latest journal entry details. Being a lurker, it's a rare thing for me to take active pursuits online. And when I do that usually limits it to one or another.

Between forums, I will have to step it up with working on my MVs. These several-month-long gaps between additions to my YT account are getting old.

Yeah, we do. Mind if I what is Band of Brothers? I also hope 2 get a laptop 4 x-mas. I've been stuck using my mom's dell 4 months now. R u aware that TF 3 is already in pre-production? wat's ur guess on wat this movie will b about? oh yeah, go cetaceans! they're cute. nice talking 2 u once in a while.

Band Of Brothers was an HBO mini-series produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Ten parts, at an hour long each, ate up plenty of memory space. I thought I had ideas for what MVs I wanted to make with a WW2 drama. Turns out I didn't.

Aware of TF3? Yes. The take - I couldn't say. I've read that the writers of the first two would like to have a break from the franchise. But whether they dictate the story or someone else does, I imagine it would be a plot meant to build on the universe established within the first two. But given the nature of Michael Bay movies as a whole, you almost gotta expect a ratio of 25% story to 75% action.

It's nice to hear from you, too, AG.

Sounds like a good series. Is it really good? WW2 stories are pretty powerful.

I heard rumors Unicron may be used in the 3rd movie. But nothing has been said yet. What I heard is that Bay wants to get more into the TF mythos, give it more character development, and make it darker and more emotional. Hopefully it'll make the series go out with a bang, if it's the final one.

That they are, and this one may be one of the most. The story follows the men of Easy Company, paratroopers, in the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. I find it especially interesting because my grandfather was a paratrooper with the 2nd Battalion of the 517th. He was present at the invasion of Italy and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

It won six Emmys and the Golden Globe for best mini-series of 2001. Long story short: if you liked Saving Private Ryan, you will like Band of Brothers.

We can only hope. I mean, I loved the first movie, but can only say I 'liked' ROTF. A rounded-out third installment would be just what these movies need. But at the same time, a foray too far into one aspect too deep might take away from the universal appeal "to the child in all of us" (as many reviews have said). There is a balance that must be maintained.

Sounds pretty interesting. I'll be honest, I never saw Saving Private Ryan. But I heard many good things about it.

ROTF was more entertaining and supposed to be more around the Cybertronians. Too many plot holes as well. The 3rd movie should make it all worth while. Something people of all ages can enjoy. And Optimus should give a speech for all to hear. Like "Until all are one - across this new divide." or to that extent,

Btw, check out my ODST HMV: [link]

Thanks. I thought so, too.

My family has the nerve to call this a problem, or an addiction. I call it fun.
