Kind of confusing. You posted it in "PhotoshopFreebies" but it turned out we have to pay for colorful backgrounds. So that is not really free.

I'm thinking to create a white wallpaper with nothin inside and nothing particular and sell it for $50..
If someone must pay for colored wallpaper, in a while someone will sell us also the air that we breathe!!
Seriously, tell the fact that the download will be so "traumatic" in the description of the deviations, so people must not click on the download link to discover it!!

You want free wallpapers just go to my gallery they all free.
You want free icons go to my gallery they all free.
You want any other designs go to my gallery or my website and download it free of charge.
Most of my work is free.
Somethings I make are not free!
Why?
Because I don't want to make it free.

In regards to your question,
No, I don't always get that way when something is 'not free' .
It was just the first time i have ever seen, anywhere , someone trying to sell something of the sort. Especially on this site where the masses tend to like sharing their creations because it brings others enjoyment, in turn bringing them happiness.
So, I was caught 'off guard' by it, and I reacted poorly.
I am not happy with myself for it, and I do apologize.
My main problem is capitalism itself,
and people trying to profit off anyone they can, for anything they can. (not directing this at you).
Everyone so focused on money and what they can 'gain' from others, and not enough people focused on the things that actually matter.
I could type for hours on my deep rooted issues with this, But i'll spare us all the pain, and just say again, Im sorry for "taking it out" on you. :/ lol
Thats cool that you have 'free stuff' to,
but i am not really concerned with what I can get for free,
and im not concerned, or stricken with "i must get things for free!" mentality.
I am used to the "Open Source" world,
where practically everything is free, in a number of ways.
It is not my mission to 'get free stuff",
So Im sorry if that's how it came across.

First of all 
I just want to tell you, that is not uncommon to see designers promoting they work on this site. And a lot of Graphic Designers make living doing what they love, it doesn't mean they want to rip people off.
This item is for web design or for other graphic design project most of those project are business related that's why it is not free. But if someone likes to use it as wallpaper they can do that also.
