Hmm, well, if I changed the Saturation-Slider to make the Colours more Vibrant, The lead-pencil sketch lines and Smudges would appear...
but I think it actually looks far better this way

The scanner killed the colours? Does that mean you changed the cubone's colour to make it the right shade of brown accidentally?
