Description
This is the top profile of the largest and last piston engine bomber the USAAF/USAF had. I have done this in the markings of the B-36J on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. I visited the museum in December, so the pictures of tail gun I photo manipulated are my own. I added and changed a few details from the restored museum B-36J like the missing blue on the tail fin, white around the cockpit area, the walkways and stenciling on top of the wings and added the part of the 95th bomb wing logo that can be seen on the right side of the nose. This is how it would have looked during service in the late 1950s. This is done at the same scale as my B-52, B-1 and B-2, and as always for the large aircraft is posted at 1/2 size.
Check out all of the other aircraft I have done here: www.deviantart.com/great-jimbo…
